Delete account

Start in the app

1. Open Aviona and go to Settings.
2. Under Account, choose Delete account.
3. Read the confirmation and confirm that you want to delete your account.

Deletion removes your account rather than merely signing you out. Signing out or uninstalling Aviona does not delete your account or uploaded information.

What the deletion process removes

The process is designed to remove your account and profile, receipts and associated purchase records, meal and nutrition history, owned uploaded images, budgets, recurring-expense information, product submissions and associated processing records. This includes your uploaded packaging images, including images previously approved for use in the shared catalogue.

Both file removal and record removal need to complete. If the app reports a failure, do not assume that deletion has finished; retry or contact support. Aviona is currently in development.

Shared facts, logs and backups

Reviewed product details and product-recognition information may remain in the shared catalogue after account attribution and purchase references are removed. Other users' records are not deleted when you delete your account. This does not give other users access to your receipt history.

Deletion does not instantly erase every external provider's logs or backups. Limited processing-cost records can temporarily remain with your account identifier removed. Removing an identifier does not itself make a record anonymous. Any continued retention of personal information must have a lawful, necessary purpose. If you need help

Email support@aviona.fo if you cannot access the app or a deletion request fails. Identify the account you want help with and describe the problem. We may need proportionate verification before acting on an account request. Do not send your password, sign-in codes or receipt images.

Support is available as an alternative when you need assistance; you can initiate deletion in the app.
