About these terms

Aviona is operated by ÍVF Aviona. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Features and availability can change as we maintain and improve the service. These terms do not remove rights or protections that applicable law gives you.

Eligibility and accounts

Aviona is for users aged 18 or older. An account is needed to use the app's personal receipt, meal and spending features. Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

What Aviona provides

Aviona helps you organize receipts and purchases, log meals, estimate nutrition and understand budgets and spending. It uses your entries, product information, calculations and, for certain features, third-party artificial intelligence services. Read the Privacy Policy for the information processed by these services, including images and selected recent-purchase context used for meal analysis.

Accepting these terms does not replace any separate permission required for sharing personal information or other processing.

Your content and the permission needed to operate Aviona

You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. Submit only content you are entitled to use, and avoid including unrelated personal information or information about other people without an appropriate reason and permission.

You give Aviona a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, analyze and, where needed, transform your content to provide the features you request, display it back to you, and operate, secure and maintain the service. Aviona may use service providers for these activities as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to those purposes and the applicable retention and deletion arrangements.

Product contributions and shared insights

If you intentionally contribute product details or packaging images for the catalogue, you permit Aviona to review and use approved details to improve shared product information. An approved package-front image may be displayed to other Aviona users as a product image. This does not authorize publication of your private receipt history or meal photos.

Purchase observations may contribute to aggregated market insights and comparisons. These results do not give other users access to your individual receipt history. See the Privacy Policy for how contributions, shared catalogue facts and account deletion are handled.

Report inappropriate content, a rights concern or misuse to support@aviona.fo. Include only the details needed to identify the issue.

Receipts and AI-generated results

Receipt recognition and AI-generated analyses can miss information, match the wrong product or produce incorrect quantities, prices or food identifications. Review results against your receipt, packaging and what you actually ate before relying on them. An estimate is not proof that a purchase or meal has a particular composition.

Nutrition and health information

Calorie, nutrient and serving estimates are informational and can be wrong. Aviona does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or professional medical advice. Do not rely on an AI estimate to determine whether a food is safe for an allergy or medical condition. Check the product label and consult a qualified health professional for advice about your individual needs.

Spending and price comparisons

Spending summaries and comparisons depend on the receipts and information available to Aviona. A recorded price does not guarantee that a product is available or has that price today. Budget information is informational and is not professional financial advice.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service or other users, or bypass security or usage limits. Do not use Aviona to expose someone else's private information or misrepresent product evidence.

Availability and account closure

We may update or maintain the service, and features may be interrupted or unavailable. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the restriction and how to contact us about it. If we discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice where possible and information about your account and data rights.

You can stop using Aviona and initiate account deletion in the app. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Deletion and any information that remains are described in the Privacy Policy.

Your legal rights

The limitations of estimates described here do not exclude liability or waive consumer, privacy or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any responsibility for the service is determined under applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. We will give notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required by applicable law. Changes to these terms do not by themselves authorize a new use of your personal information.
